 The Legacy Project started as a way for Revelstoke to give back to those organizations and individuals who have inspired us over the years. In 1998 we donated our first piece of furniture to a local conservation organization and the Legacy Project was born. We have since decided to expand our vision and annually contact an individual or organization to be the Legacy Project recipient for the year. Over the course of the year we design, build and deliver a piece of hand crafted furniture. We choose individuals or organizations who have personally inspired and influenced our lives and the work we do. All the potential recipients have worked to further environmental conservation through their work or the way they choose to live. Most importantly they have directly affected and inspired us. We hope that by giving in this way we are not only saying thank you, but hopefully facilitating the work of those who have influenced us, as well as others who will come in contact with the Legacy Project. |
